Counseling via Video
A more traditional, telehealth approach is video. We can see one another in a secure HIPAA complaint platform. Some of my clients enjoy one session via video and the remainder of their counseling sessions via phone or even vice versa. It’s entirely up to you.
Megan Purcell, MSW, MS, LCSW, LISW-S
My name is Megan Purcell. I hold a master’s degree in social work from Ohio University. I also hold a master’s and bachelor’s degree in psychology. I have been working in the social services sector for over twenty years. I was raised in south Florida and rural, southern Ohio.
My vocational background is in outpatient and inpatient behavioral health. I have also worked in two domestic violence shelters and as a long-term care ombudsman in a skilled nursing facility.
My treatment style consists of person-centered and a strengths-based approach in a judgment-free setting. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and motivational interviewing.
